it's because usage of grim is way too specific and yet require much of coordination (read: wallshot with nerd angle). not to mention yet about small radius of his gadget, you need to pinpoint accuracy for the gadget actually give impact grimm is like iq and twitch, but they can be used selfishly and anywhere. grimm is all about anti roamer

He has no unique gadget tho so it evens out if your playing the game properly and using gadgets and skills, rook is basicly just any operator minus their ability with 1 extra utility, so technically its hindering yourself playing him 💁🏻‍♂️ Canon wise he's the doom slayer able to master any weapon, choosing not to be supped up with some special ability and instead single handedly eliminating terrorists and rescuing hostages like its breakfast, able to master his utility and placement making him the ultimate operator...that's why Harry bans him from entering the "Tournament of champions" and ranked due to him just being such a Chad.

this is it, for some reason with recruit im more excited, i have a recruit only account(or use to i accidentally opened a christmas pack causing me to get goyo, horrible mistake, im gonna remake that account and get it to ranked). for some reason i felt like i could make plays with him, i have no idea why, i felt less nervous, relaxed, more loosely minded, etc. recruit feels great to play no matter the loadout and all his guns are great(wish he had one more defender primary like his attacker loadout though, now that aruni got dmr on defence maybe that could be the way they wanna go in) maybe it was because they were all quickmatches and no one was trying. it just feels great to forget nearly everything else and to be able to use your gadgets in creative ways.

Because when you play Recruit, you are basically playing the game at its most basic. Mastering the basics of the game can really get you far into the skill factor

playing recruit in ranked is actually really good for solo queue. you don't need to worry about a teammate burning ads or removing the bandits you can do it all. honestly playing him in ranked is so much fun. and you surprisingly get loads of messages from the enemy and the team saying that they respect it. even when your losing

Imagine a gamemode called "Recruit Rodeo" where the only operator you can use is Recruit but he can use any primary, secondary, and gadgets. So basically a "build your own operator" mode.

For discussion like this in the future, it might be better to separate your sections into Attacker and Defender gadgets. I sent this to a friend I was trying to get into playing siege and he was confused as to why people don't use Claymore all the time on defense, or when he should use impacts instead of frags on either team. Just something to think about I guess

The game I made some of my closest friends of all time, we were 2-2 on Chateau, this was in like 2017, last round we all went shield recruit and caught the dub. In hindsight, the most important match of Rainbow Six Siege I would ever play. Goof times.

Recruit on attack is my favorite character because he's the only one who can bring both soft and hard breach charges, a breaching shotgun, and an LMG all in one loadout. It's so stupid. He can just run directly through any possible obstacles towards the objective and there's nothing the defending team can put in his way to stop him.

Being recruit in ranked is such a weird experience, but it's super fun. The account I do it on has 1 hard breach on attack and kapkan on defense so if my teammates demand a real op I can. Otherwise they can quick pick that op, boom I'm recruit, then switch off after and I keep recruit. Really wish he could have gun skins tho, I would love to be able to use the L8 black ice on him lol.

Yknow this video is awesome for beginners that don't know what some things are for. For example, I'm a level 60 player (gold 3 in ranked) and I never knew I could put soft-breach charges on wooden floors to add verticality. Something thats is SO under used is the emp feature on the bp one site that is crazy on it is chalet basement with one bp you completely deny the wall with a bandit tricker. Even with ace you can emp the selma and give bandit a ton of time and if youre jäger with bp they can’t even frag the bandit or the bp

One thing I like to do with claymores is to put them near a castle barricade so that the lasers go under it. Not only will it kill someone who crosses it but it destroys the barricade in the process. I only really do this in casual though.
