How to Play Regidrago VSTAR

I took a break from regidrago to find some fun decks to play for a bit while the meta shifts from the last few regionals along with my feelings for the deck beginning to wane and get stale. I’m gonna pick the deck back up after seeing it perform really well in the last few regionals that have happened like Louisville and Dortmund. I’m finally feeling the excitement again!

Was the game not just over if your opponent hit heads on Pokemon Catcher on their turn 1 and KOd? No 2nd Drago V in play and no way to return KO. I understand getting 1 prizer in the active but could you have squawked and try to draw way to 2nd drago + one prize? Guess its also RNG at the same time for those 6 cards. Just curious.

@@rileykline9864I think both could be good plays, just depends on what you feel is the better play in that situation. I can see a squawk play happening and top decking into a dragon you can vessel away along with a potential teal mask but it’s all just a gamble at the end of the day

I noticed at the start you just drew with teal mask instead of using nest ball to put something out you might have not wanted to draw any reason you didnt try deck thinning first with nest ball then drawing with teal mask sure its only 1 card but im just curious.

I played both on locals. I’d say Raging bolt is easier and faster to set up than Regidrago’s. So you get more chance to win. Drawing cards is random and I lost a lot of times with Regidrago for not having the time to set up before my opponent killed me 😢

I think noivern could be added back in for its second attack to completely lock out terapagos ex if they dont get the stadium down in time.

Spamming noivern not effective against terapagos, they still have a way through, dusknoir and gust. Haxorus special energy killer is how i deal with terapagos but still most matchup i prioritize dragapult attack to kill their setup duskull line.

@@100nadzmi yea I was thinking the dusknoir could be an issue. Yes I usually prioritize duskull if so they have to put down 3 when I play dragapult.
