Love the Scions of Flame and they are the warband that I am most pleased with regarding my painting. After watching this I am building some more figures as I have a spare set.

The scions only issue is simply the model selection in the box is a bit limited which is a real shame. The upside? The models are beautiful and are a joy to build and paint. I love just running them for the fun of it. They do work on the tabletop and look good doing it. My sons friend ran them the other day and got the PERFECT Immolator explosion. He hit 7 models with a triple 6 dice boomba which was just bonkers. He missed all 7 4+ rolls and then got 1 shot by a crazy attack roll. Dude ran up, farted, then died. Was hilarious and that’s just what the Scions do.

Warcry is a great system and one that I recommend to others. It can be a bit daunting when you look at how much material is available but you don't have to buy all of it to get started and there are some great models and some excellent terrain.

Nice video. Ive gone for a Mindstealer Sphiranx in my Fireborn warband to get some more speed and some debuff/net abilities. Works out to a Lord, a Brazen, a Immolator, A fireborn with kris, 2 initiates w flails and a Mindstealer. I was sad to lose the priestess, but i couldn't find any way to fit her in while not dipping too low on bodies and she seemed the most unreliable of the bunch

That is a fair drop. I love the priestess because her Quad can be stupidly good. But it’s also reliant on a super high quad which might never turn up (and if you fail to kill, you die due to her stats and close proximity). This list looks really solid. I love the Mindstealer. It’s lower offensive stats work wonders here too because Scions are so good at cracking open tough units.

One hour video with a conclusion that warband might not be so very good, that is quite sad to hear to be honest. I am buying them anyways. What would you recommend if one would to expand from the starter box? From your other reviews I figured out some units from Coven and Untamed would be nice?

Good video again. But I think Fireborn with Kris isn't as bad as you make out. Its average point cost per damage unit compared to the Fireborn with Sunblade and Brazier Axe is only very fractionally worse vs. T3 (15.83 vs. 15.74) and T4 (20.34 vs 19.7) and it's quite a lot better vs. T5 (20.34 vs 26.25). I certainly wouldn't feel bad about using it to cram in more bodies, should saving 10 points help somewhere else. I'd also argue that it's a good Fiery Might target

This is actually a very good point. I think I let my general dislike for Fireborn vs Initiates skewed my view in the Kris more than it should have!
