Thanks for tuning and how too Shane. The music you gravite to has that lip snarl effect of the old blues guys I love. Don't feel like you have to do everything live. Edit. Get it right like I know you can do, and that's what I want to see and hear! :) Just took a VW 2006 guitar $20 and made it my 3 string on the beach in Cali. GGB right? I'm hard of hearing, probably from playing too loud, too many years. You're the man.

Thanks Shane, I would like to say that when I watched one of your videos (the one with a yellow 3-string) I found it so cool I restrung my 3-string CBG and tunned it to GGB. It really sound really good and ignited some serious song writting and the guitar will remain with this tunning forever, so I will build new ones for other tunning, because there is no way I'm going to change. Thanks a lot!

Great Shane...how bout a lesson on Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress by the Hollies? Also, I cut my poplar neck down to one and three eights inches wide and get more control of the fretboard. Have you tried that?

so I have a guitar in G spanish tuning DGDGBD. I can play this on 5, 3 and 2 for the parts where you are picking individual strings and hit them all for the full chords and get a bigger more rounded sound...... why would I want to take off the 3 D strings?.... apart from having a cool storey about getting this old junk guitar that only had 3 strings on it and just keeping it that way what is the point?..... Great lesson, Thanks

What a great video... I turned my guitar into a 3 string like you said...and it sounds so much better than my cigar box guitar...I guess they use better pickups or something.. this ggb tuning is great... any other strange tunings like this? And congrats on finding out this one...
