I didn't understand the general pickett joke, I'm not american, can you explain it

Short version: the North held a hill, and the South wanted to take it. A Southern General (Pickett) led a frontal assault which basically amounted to marching in a line toward the hill as the Northern infantry picked them off. It was a major tactical error by the South, and the loss of that battle (Gettysburg) is often credited as the breaking point of the Civil War. Thank you so much! I actually try to avoid putting my opinion into it. I feel like the review space is pretty saturated. I also know that forcing myself to view something with a critical eye often makes me feel harsher toward something that I would otherwise. But no one is paying me or seeking me out to make these, so if I took the time to make a video, I probably like the game!

I recently bought BULLET HEART and wanted to try it solo. But the rule book was a little hard to interpret for solo mode. I search up how to set up bullet solo and lo and behold, who showed up to help me get the game rolling but the grouchy nerd! THANKS for helping me get the game up and running in no time! I had a blast playing it. I actually TIED in my first play. I died but the shield breaks killed Fuege in the same turn. Was epic!@@thegrouchynerd

Thing I did was to cut the edge of the box so that when you unfold the box, it’s easier to reach the cards that you have to put into the box. And then the box just closes fine because it has a magnet. But I think that should’ve cut that out themselves and not had me do it. I don’t know.

I used to own it. Soooo many typos and inconsistecies. Then i oaid for the "correction kit" that reprinted all the errirs with ckearer text and such. By that point i didn't care anymore. While I very much enjoy the theme, the setting, the conceptual narative... The setup is so fifly and involved, that even after creating my own quick setup guide, it wasn't quick. I gifted my copy to others. I would buy a third revision, though, if the setup ever gets streamlined 😅

The 4 characters isn’t that bad. Mostly because you don’t really have that many options. I think I would actually kind of hate it if everyone was playing their own character.

They can exhaust, like if you have to exhaust an ability because you got attacked. But they do not exhaust when they trigger.

Yeah, you definitely have to be okay with dice for this one!! And they are the central cause of frustration, even when things go well.
