The G chord should actually be a G6 chord. Really easy: just lift your ring finger off the 3rd fret on the high E string. It will give it that famous early Beatle harmonic sound (George Harrison’s idea).

Actually a terrible mistake on the intro. The fourth chord is a G6 which mimics the vocal harmonies. You’ve got to have that E note B string 5 th fret . You can’t simplify in my opinion a song like that ...
