After you roll a ship, captain, and crew, can you save one of the other two dice and just roll the other one by itself?

If you roll your ship, captain, and crew and want to try for a higher score with your last 2 dice, you must roll both dice. You can't keep one if it's a high number and reroll the other. Thanks for watching!
