Bad Habits. Ed Sheeran again? I think it's maybe an E chord. I was thinking maybe he capoed the first fret to help play an F. He performs a short clip. Called: How to play Shivers. It's on his KZbin page. It Names Am. F. C and, G as the chords used. But, I think it's simpler. I am going mad, picking arpeggios. On a guitar that's slightly too small here. The arpeggios seem to match the lyrics. 57(7) played 5 7 (7), (7) (7) 7 5. Chord 13(3) played: 1 3 (3) 3. Then chord 3(3)5(5) played: (3) 5 (5); 5 (5)5(3) 3 (3); 5 (5) 5 (3) 3. Or a more simple open down strum appeggios with a flick up to B then g. Finnish on b. These notes: e a D g b e b g b Then a Strum down. E a D g b

I agree Derrick, every time Ed brings a new song out I search straight away for an solo acoustic version as I always prefer them a lot lot more than the produced versions, I also love Ed’s loop station technique making the base by banging and slapping and palm muting, absolutely brilliant

His guitars not tuned down a half step. The capo is there so when he plays the top string open on the chord change, it’s in key. His acoustic version is in C# major and there’s no E in it but there is an F so he capos the first fret.

As soon as he said that Ed’s guitar was tuned a half step down, I looked for this comment.
