It looks like there was a 2015 Promotion that released 4 extra Nobles. They work the same as the others, but just have that P on them to indicate they were part of the promo pack. boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/178742/splendor-nobles-promo-tiles

Me and a few partners, play with all 3(core, and both expansions together) was fun and longer. We changed some of the rules, cause we had to. But we were addicted to the game. I'm even thinking about purchasing the Marvel Version for my nieces and nephews. I have no kids.

Just one emerald and 5 points. Every card is worth one gem, and 0 to 5 points.

Development cards count as gems that you can permanently use for the rest of the game and do not count toward your 10 gems limit

Thanks for answering this so fast! That's exactly right. It's impossible to save up enough gems to buy the expensive cards at the beginning of the game. But once you've bought some cheaper cards, those give you basically a discount for the rest of the game, that helps you buy the big stuff.
