This is very well done. Thank you. I've always loved this song. After recently re-discovering the live performance from Paris 1979, I've been listening to it over and over. I think my favorite two chords in the verse progression is the A-flat major 7 to the G minor 7. There's something about those two chords, then resolving to the B-flat, that I find haunting, particularly at this slightly slower tempo (i.e., the tempo of the studio version). When coupled with the lyrics about the loss of childhood innocence, it's tear-jerking.

Man, one of my most favorite songs ever and you nail it (never had a doubt you wouldn't). Very well explained and even if I wasn't going to play this (more like butcher) I would still watch your videos, I like your style. The way you explain things is very digestible. New subscriber a couple videos ago and can't wait for more!🤘🏼

Great video. Reminds me when I was a teenager I wanted to learn this song so I could jam it out with band members, but how am I gonna play the B3, Piano, Wurlitzer, and strings? because I loved every part so much. Never did jam it out. Love the Logical Song since I was a kid though.

Thanks Christian. You are absolutely right those are brilliant devices that totally elevated Supertramp's music to another level; and we can borrow. It's sad, Rick Davies is the Greatest keyboardist I never heard of. He didn't get the ink Wakeman, Emerson, Winwood got and his stuff was brilliant to the extent my ear couldn't pick it up. As you clearly have. Also integrating those left and right Wurly parts is not easy. Impressive playing young man!
