He is definetly not a burst mage. Seeing the build recommends and some of the players builds just doesnt suit him. To me he is more of an assist killer or support. I found Ardent Dominator works real well with his fatal damage passive. Im going to experiment and make a marksman build on him since his passive skill has his basic attacks to deal magic damage, basic attacks become buffed when he reaches 180 qi, and gets a basic attack enhancement whenever his first skill hits an enemy.

I loved this hero when I played in the cn server back then, he got me to 100*s there my go to ban was gan mo if I play yixing, they are really annoying with their long range poking and they can harass nonstop with that range advantage

Yeah the Hardest part of mastering this hero would be finding good teammates,I mean I had three consecutive perfect ults and trapped four people in a match but my team was so stupid that they left the chance and even the tank was pampering the marksman (our marksman was there as well) I mean I don't know what to say and the worst part is even if you comfine four people or 5 and your CC support that wasn't helping went in and CC three of them you wouldn't get the crucial crwod control award or this hero could hardly confirm kills,I mean my teammates just last hit the enemies when I crowd control him dished out most of the sustain damage -_- this is why I don't wanna use him

I really like his kit, but he is fully dependent on team. Which is sad because no matter how well you perform you cant carry with him.

It's worth noting that Da Qiao's ult could teleport heroes out of his ult, but aside from that single interaction, NOTHING ELSE COULD PUT YOU OUT OF HIS ULT. Yeah, whether it's teleport (Arli, Li Bai, Liu Bang), CC immune dash (Musashi, Lian Po, Ying), "global-range" dash (Sima Yi, Nezha) or even invincibility (Allain, Yuhuan, Mi Yue), none of them make their users able to move over his ult's AoE. My point is, while Yixing is pretty weak against high mobility heroes, he could still shut them down hard with a well-placed ult, so the matchup is closer to a 50/50. Definitely a recommended mage to learn

@@gameboyish It's too soon to tell, but i'm certain he'll have above average pick rate even after 2 weeks purely because of the potential of him single-handedly winning teamfight with a perfect ult (basically the same reason why Marco is so popular, players love looking for that perfect ult moments)

For me he is best as mage support, his CC are awesome you just need to position carefully. Just keep on poking enemy hero and continue to make a damage and let your team kill. More assist much better.

you can hold your ult first when engaging, and if you mastered it a bit you can do the combo he's doing.

As long as you can flash out the box before the setup is over then you can get out of it But if you try to flash out when you are already inside the box then it's impossible
