Happy New Year! I am a beginner, playing in standard tuning, but I am so tempted to try DADGAD, you explain it so well! Great job, and God Bless!

Happy new year! Glad you like the lessons and cool to hear your starting out playing 🎸💪ya I would suggest getting a good grasp on Standard tuning first, it's a lot of fun and it should be easy to find a local teacher. Then the transition to DADGAD should come a bit easier. I'm hoping on getting around to making Standard guitar lesson videos as some point too if people are interested. We'll see 😄

Another fine version of this nice reel. It all sounds so smooth while I know it isn't. To me, the key of D is the most difficult one because you can't use a capo so those fingers have to stretch endlessly :) Well done guys! By the way, you started to add the chords in post production instead of pressing the computer keyboard during recording, it's a great improvement on your already professional looking video's Aodan! Now how to get rid of the wall switch? :)

😂 Yes, I need to build a new studio and get the wall switch hidden 😂 Glad you like the lesson Dany 👍

Could you do a tutorial for drowsy maggie in DADGAD tuning?

Hi Róisín, I'll stick that one on the to-do list 👍

Hi Aodan, could you please elaborate on your strumming pattern. The rhythm shown in the start of the video (both the reel bass-treble pattern and the boom chuck) don't match with what you are playing in the session. Do you use the same bass-treble rhythm for all chords or do you boom-chuck the D & G and the F# & G?

Hi John, that's a nice pipping tune. My dad used to play that tune a lot. I hadn't thought of tabbing that one, but it could be nice. I'll add it to my to-do list. Cheers

All these darned chords where you have to spread your fingers over four frets. Impossible for people like me with small hands. That G chord for example. I wish you could show us some alternatives to that,
