thank you! this was a great overview of the system. the blood markers remind me a lot of fatigue markers in saga, which similarly are used by the opponent to modify a unit's movement, shooting, defense, etc.

Can you do a video on the campaign rules? some things confuse me to no end. Say, TRHRESHOLD rule. Can you only field troops up to that value or is it only used for reinforcements? Going by what's written it seems to be the latter but it's written in the same lines as the maximum field strength which is the maximum number of models from your warband that you can put on the field.

@@mikeoxlong1395 hi, I can try. No guarantee I’ll understand it any better though. The threshold value dictates how many troops you can field. So if you start with 700 you can field up to 10 models. I think what it may do is prevent you from spamming stuff. Like here’s 20 50 ducat fighters.

@@MiniatureGameMontage Thank you for the response. What confuses me about it is Say, it's battle three and the threshold value is 900 but i went looting and i ended up with, say 200 ducats and i got lucky and none of my guys died (of a previously 800 ducats army). Now, what i'm asking is: can i spend all those 200 ducats to buy additional guys up to a 12 models limit or the army i field must follow both the 900 ducats threshold value and the model limit. Meaning that the additional money must either be stashed away or used to buy stuff for the armory (or additional models that stay at the sidelines and sit the battle out.) What confuses is that it kind of devalues looting since whether i loose half of my warband or not i can call on reinforcement the actual gameplay is not affected (if i can only field my warband up to the threshold) . There seems to be little difference between wining or loosing (besides the victory points and the position on the scoreboard). Whether you retreated before suffering heavy losses or pushed your troops to the last seems like a pointless choice when both armies are going to be at the exact same strength in the next battle. If that makes sense. Sorry for the long winded comment.

@@mikeoxlong1395 all good! So I don’t think you’re limited by your ducats. That just determines how many models you can have. The threshold I believe is like your wealth. As your wealth gets bigger you can bring in additional models. My assumption is the threshold is your current roster cost + treasury and they equals how many models you can have. So exploring would be good bc it may allow you to recruit additional models if your value goes up

Also, i would like to say bloodbath is such a wonderful rule! Previously, units like the War Wolf or Communicant felt nearly impossible to kill, and were almost never worth engaging in combat with. This changes that, and makes it feel a bit more balanced

In my opinion it is overpriced. I know the kickstarter is now 2 million+ dollars and a lot of people have backed it, but the price of those stl files or 3d printed miniatures are just insane. If it had been half the price i think they would make the same amount of money but the game would reach more people.
