I turned the second controller off and then back on, pressed start on the Xbox controller and it worked, we were on the second level. I think it’s a glitch if the second controller is on before the game is turned on

Sorry it doesn't, perhaps check the controller is assigned to the second player at the start of joining the game or in the settings, then when the game gets up to the bit wen you join the second player, try all the buttons on the pro controller

There's basically only two things I know: 1. make sure the controller is setup for two players (general for all games) 2. In this game you have to start as single player and reach a point before you activate the second player
