0:28: there are now 112 cards in an uno deck. 1:40: an old-school rule excluding the wild and not placing it at the bottom of the deck. 1:53: another old-school rule. 2:56: you cannot draw four cards if someone shouts uno at you.

He didn’t mention can challenge other players with wild draw +4. If someone plays this card when the card in hand matches the card in the pile, another player can challenge that play and that player has to show the cards in their hands and if they have a card that matches the card in the pile, then the challenge is successful and that player who put down the wild +4 must now draw 6 cards (+4 for wild and +2 for challenge)

Thanks. I have a question for you. The other day, I was playing UNO with my kids. And my 2nd kid (I think) is cheating. How? Let me explain and you tell me if he was really cheating or If I am wrong and need to apologize. So the issue is, card on pile was Blue 5, and my 2 kids were the remaining players. Total of us were 4 to start the game. So the remaining kids had Blue 5 on the pile, and both of them did not have Blue card or 5 card. So as per the rule, they were picking card from the unseen card bunch. Now question is, If someone gets that " ALL colors +4 card or just that 4 color card ( Wild card ) " aren't they suppose to throw it immediately so that they can then switch it to the colors they have in their hand and the play continues? My kid was just piling cards even AFTER he got that +4 Wild card, because the other kid ( who is younger) was NOT getting a Blue card or 5 card or those 4 color, or +4 color cards. So what is the rule? Can they just pile Wild Cards even though they can throw it immediately?

Yes. Deuces and fours are draw 2 and draw 4. Playing an 8 skips the next player's turn. Jacks are wild and Kings are reverse cards. If desired, alternate ranks may be designated as skip, wild and reverse cards. There are no wild draw 4 cards. Aces are low and count one point. With four or more players, two decks are needed. One deck may be sufficient for two or three players. The jokers are not used.

These are American rules. UK Dorset rules are that it doesn’t matter when you say Uno, as long as you say it before laying the last card. Also if someone says pick up 4, you pick up 4 and can’t lay another pick up card .

I even told him when I posted this comment that I will apologize to him if someone says he was right to do what he was doing. But I have another question, How do we make sure people dont do that? Is there a way to catch them do that? My kid is ultra competitive, but honest kid, so I am thinking he wont do it again once I tell him the rules, but what if someone else does the same trick when my kid is playing against them? How do we catch the player who cheats and keeps piling +4 Will card or Wild cards, when they can clearly move ahead in game my playing it as soon as they can ?

@@salmanbinahmed8253 You can use the method for "wild draw 4 card" Player may play a "Wild Draw Four" card even if they have a matching number or word card of a different color in their hand. If you suspect that a player has played a Wild Draw 4 card illegally, you may challenge them. A challenged player must show his/her hand to the player who challenged. If the challenged player is guilty, he/she must draw the 4 cards. If the challenged player is not guilty, the challenger must draw the 4 cards, plus 2 additional cards. Only the person required to draw the 4 cards can make the challenge. Apart of that, there is no official rule for checking the players if they can use the card or not after drawing it.

I think that you are incorrect. To the best of my knowledge, a draw 4 card may be played anytime provided that its color matches. Wild draw 4 cards may be played any time.

Inaccurate rules. A wild card turned over as the start of the discard pile, gives the first player choice of colour. It is only the +4 that is put into the middle of the draw pile.

When playing multiple games the winner in the player with the lowest score? But you add up you opponents card values when you win a game and that's your score. So why would I try to will a game and score any points if the lowest score wins after multiple games?

In retrospect it makes sense to only draw once and skip your turn if still no valid play. If you just keep drawing the deck could run out before anyone finishes which means you have to interpret now shuffling the board state back in.

@Derek Josue Lazaro Atega yup. People will plsy two if the same number (ex: 4 2's) With colors and numbers, you can play your cards as long as they're in order, and you can actually keep going. (Ex: if you play a blue one, you can play a green two after it, then a red three, yellow four, etc)
