what's the purpose of the other baby cards from the nursery?

I see people in the comments still can't grasp how to play. Let's say three people are playing. They all get dealt five cards to begin. The first person starts by drawing a card, then playing a card, let's say a basic unicorn. Their turn is over. Clockwise turn formation, so the person to the left of the player who went first goes next. They draw a card and then play an upgrade card into their stable, let's say it's a Yay! card. But someone else wants to stop it and plays a Neigh card. The upgrade card is negated and sent to the discard pile. The played Neigh also gets sent to the discard pile as it was played. The turn of the player who got Neigh'd is over. Neigh cards can stop other Neigh cards unless the unique Super Neigh was played which itself cannot be Neigh'd. Third player is up next. They draw and play into their stable, let's say an upgrade card Double Dutch. This card can only take effect if it was in their stable at the beginning of their turn, as the card states. Their turn is over and it's now the first player's turn again. And that was a whole turn cycle I just described. This game is super easy to play. Idk why half of y'all can't comprehend how it's played. I also see others think the game would end fast due to excessive card drawing. But some card effects cause the discard pile to be shuffled into the deck. So running out of cards can only occur if no one causes that to happen. If you do run out, the person with the most unicorns wins. If there are players with the same amount of unicorns when the deck runs out, the higher sum of letters in the names of the unicorns wins. If it's a tie in that scenario, everyone loses. Keywords include Draw, Play, Discard, Sacrifice, Destroy. Draw a card. (Draw phase, Action phase if no card is to be played). Play a card from your hand. (These can be Neigh'd). Discard a given amount of cards amount from your hand into the discard pile. Sacrifice can only occur in your own stable during your turn. Unicorns and Up/Downgrades can be sacrificed but an effect specifies which one. Destroy applies to a unicorn as a target and sends them to the discard pile.

For example, if in my stable, I have more than 2 downgrades, how does the effect works? It stated, if this card is in your stable at the beginning of your turn, sacrifice a unicorn card then draw a card and if this card is in your stable at the beginning of your turn, shuffle a card from your hand into the deck. Does both effects apply at the same time or just choose 1 effect?

The Baby Unicorn you start with is in your Stable. Playing any cards (except for Instants and Magic cards) goes into your Stable or another player’s Stable. Pretty simple, really.

How do you know what goes into your hand? When do you put unicorns into the stable?

Any card that you draw can be put into your hand. There are also a few other cards that allow you to return those cards back to your hand if they have been destroyed. If they can be, it will say so in the text box at the bottom of the card. You can put a unicorn into your stable during the action phase as your "play a card" action. Thanks for watching!

If you have Pandamonium is it impossible to win?? Because you need 7 unicorns to win but don’t, you have 7 Pandas not Unicorns.

Xavier Bergman yes. It turns ur unicorns to pandas so u cant win until u get rid of the pandamonium card. (1 way is to place a narwal torpedo, it gets rid of downgrade cards when placed.) even tho it stops u from winning it also stops the other player from using unicorn poison and stuff that destroys unicorns cuz...well, theyre pandas and not unicorns!

The win condition is based on the number of unicorns, which does not include upgrades or downgrades, so no.

Bob Douglas at the beginning of the action phase you can play any card from your hand. It could be a unicorn, like a basic unicorn, upgrade, like rainbow aura, downgrade, etc. I hope that helps!

The first to 7 unicorns in their stable wins! There are obviously caveats and word play that effects this but that is the win condition.

Ulacorn ok so what i gathered from dif vids is u draw a card and put it in your hand (even if its a unicorn) and during ur action phase u can place the card u prefer (u can use this phase to place down a unicorn in the stable) if the unicorn is destroyed or sacrificed make sure to read its effect, some unicorns say “if this card is destroyed or sacrificed put it in your hand”

Cheesy Kuriboh u can play unicorns from ur hand during the action phase. When its time for the action phase u have the chance to put a unicorn in the stable and unleash its effect.
