Word of Advice for anyone getting into Darktide: If/When you get to max level, start looking for Grey or Green items with High ratings. You can "Bless" them with Hadron to increase their stats better than most blues and purples you may have. I don't know if this comment will age well, but in short, A green/grey with a base rating of 390-400 can reach higher stats when upgrading, compared to blues and purples you come across or buy.

Just wanna say for those of you thinking of buying the game, it is fantastic and a true love to the Warhammer40k franchise. But at this time, there is optimisation problems, as well as some run ending brugs, and it take a while just in general to simply start the game, so keep that in mind when buying it. I myself hope these gets fixed in the future, I am however, still gonna be out there slaying heretics in the meantime. FOR THE EMPORER!!!

The most fun aspect of Darktide is the roleplaying aspect, I decided to make my character an ogyrn that somehow got into the Schola Progenia, and was somehow able to pass through the school and become a Commissionar. Unfortunately, on first battle, my ogyrn just kept pushing the enemy and refused to retreat. So, after winning the battle he was in trouble for refusing to retreat and that's where the game starts for me!

Just be ready to check the shop every hour you can. Even with a max level psyker, the most common items in my shop are axes and auto guns with a rare sprinkle of a good staff (and force sword if you are going for one).

Ogryn was told he'd go on trains, Psyker tells him that they weren't going to be riding trains, Ogryn says he was told he was going on trains and that now the Psyker's boring. About the ogryn's grenade ! My headcannon is that the ogryn doesn't throw the box because he's an idiot, but rather he throws the empty box after veteran and zealot take the grenades inside.

You actually get a feat at around level 10 or 15 on Ogryn that causes all the grenades inside the box to prime and scatter everywhere when it hits an armored enemy

The icon on the bolt pistol at 4:56 is 100% the symbol of a My Little Pony character. Princess Celestia, who is often jokingly compared to the Emperor because she's an immortal ruler who puts gold on everything and never explains her plans to anyone. If you look up the character it's exactly the same sun symbol. Either Bricky or his editor didn't notice and just found a good image of a summary execution, or this was done on purpose. Given how prominent and non-Imperial the symbol is, I'm leaning towards the second explanation.

As a fan of Fatsharks other tide games and having played since the first beta I gotta say it’s a really good core game that will definitely be a lot of fun once it’s fully finished being updated! It lacks much of the interesting elements that made Vermintide 2 (Fatsharks previous tide game) an endlessly repayable joy, but it admittedly had a rocky release too so there’s still hope!

i agree the voice character pick is the most important part in the character creation phase im so happy about the writing, Voice Actors and interaction between characters. Its very nice not much of a fan of hadrons VA, people love it and i think its well written but i wish the VA had gone for a more robotic approach like GladOS

Tips for those new; 1. Always stick together. Keep looking back and wait for the last guy or dont stay behind. 2. Item rating rarely matters. Type of the weapon and the skill of the wielder does. Make sure u have armor piercing, horde clearing, and long range weapons if possible. 3. Use block, push, dodge, and slide to its full potencial. U can even slide to side and back when sitting while using dodge. 4. Leave ammo and health kits for those who/when actually need it. 5. Kill specials - elites - horde - boss in said order. All specials and elites, has their own distictive sound. U can later use it to dodge them by listening even without looking.

My only issue with Darktide is that it's still in beta and not all the features and weapons are available. Will definitely be playing more once it's fully released.

Three things for anyone interested in getting Darktide: One, Veteran at the moment is the best class for one to jump into the game. His ability is really good, he has the lion's share of guns in a more gun-centric horde game, once you get the Power Sword he also has the best melee and his fashion is the best. Zealot is a bit tougher to get into due to needing to get into melee (sliding across the ground dodges all ranged attacks by the way,) Ogryn is a big target and gets shot alot, and Psyker falls off when you hit higher difficulties. You get room to make one of each character with another to spare, but don't be afraid to delete and remake if you're early into the character and don't like their voice or how tall they are. Be aware that a lot of the weapons you get early on will suck. Not just something like "they have a bad moveset and are short" suck, a lot of their feel is dictated by stat spread, which is heavily choked early on. A lot of weapons that felt like genital torsion at an early level may feel much better once you start hitting green and blue rarities, or alternatively the stats start hitting the upwards of 70%. Certain weapons can also be made or broken by where these stats go (Such as blast radius and peril cooldown for Psyker staves.) Difficulties can have mutators, which at the moment are high intensity (doubled spawns for everything, so denser mobs and all specials except bosses come in pairs) and low intensity (less mob enemies, but more specials.) Heresy (Hav5 or four bars) ALWAYS has high intensity unless it is specifically stated to have low intensity. No chevron? High intensity. Upper chevron? High. Downward chevron? Low. It'll probably be fixed sooner rather than later, but keep this in mind, and consider that some people have said that Damnation (full bars difficulty) is currently a bit easier than Heresy because of this.
