Another fab video Sophie! It’s great to know my 4 month old is hitting all of these milestones and I’m sure this is in part due to all of the activities we’ve learnt from your baby classes ❤️ thank you! Xx

Love this! You really are encouraging and as you talk about a milestone assure us that every baby is different. Often times moms feel shamed if their babies aren’t hitting milestones quickly. Thank you for the ideas, I was running out!

My four month old army crawls all around the house. She's been rolling front to back back to front since the end of 3 months. I had no idea that this was advanced behavior lol

I do tummy time with my son every day but he can not do it like the baby at the first of this video. He won't lift his head up. Should I be concerned?

As long as his neck is strong enough to support his head then yes, it's fine 😊

Yes definitely! My boys have been in one for play since 2 1/2 months old. I recommend putting a blanket around their hips if you’re worried. Using of the activity centers actually helps learn more head support

NEVER prompt sitting! jesus crist. they will sit when they are ready for it, themselves.
@SophiePickles
@SophiePickles Жыл бұрын
Absolutely they will (or most babies at least) but many enjoy being in a seated position before they can sit independently. It helps babies with reflux and aids building core muscles. I would never recommend using devices to do this (like a bumbo) but sitting with you for lap rhymes etc builds balance, stability and is a great bonding tool. 🥰

@@SophiePickles omg there really is a great difference between czech physiotherapy and the rest of the world. they would never recommend any prompting for sitting or walking or any kind of bouncers etc. the US people are lagging behind very much in this field.

@@petrak.6904 I'm English, not American 😉 I too agree that it's interesting how different cultures choose to raise their babies. I don't advocate using walkers or seat positioners (as I mentioned in my last comment). Free floor time and movement is by far the best way to allow a baby to develop their physical skills. If you'd like to look at my Instagram account, I have many videos talking about this. Thanks for your comment. Have a great day!
