12/8 is African beat (for example like isoji beat in CAC, Celestial or Cherubim and Seraphim churches) 6/8 is American beat ( Songs like God is able to do) Time signature! 12 bit in a bar. We use 12 in African because our are always long/expanded. American use 6/8.
