Very well presented and explained! I would have liked an explanation or mention of card Wraith but since that is relatively new and the changes come so fast I understand why it's not here. I wonder if the gun build will thrive with the recent gun nerfs.

Gun vs Card will always change depending on the meta but I hope you took away the principles of how to engage no matter what. Wanted this to be evergreen.

But crippling headshot doesn't increase headshot damage in any way? All you have to do is hit headshot once every 4s...

Hey thanks. nice vid. Good guide. Just wanted to clarify, that smeefu's main point was you hit all headshots while you have someone lifted. I think this is a minor but important detail. Although, it doesn't make lucky shot bad at all, because relying on your ult uptime is kinda bad in the end, as you also said anyway.

Hi Metro, I appreciate your content. What are your thoughts on the stack benefits of Ammo Scavenger in lane? You can get up to 24 total spirit power from a 500 soul item. Which seems pretty worthwhile on Wraith in lane. Thanks

I have one comment on your build. You should really be buying Extra Stamina early in the game when you start farming camps. For a tiny investment of 500 souls, you get 7% fire rate, some extra health and a lot of mobility. It definitely earns itself back fast. You can just sell it later if you need the slot, and all it would have cost you is 250 souls.

Hey this was a really well edited video, as someone who has similar hours spent on Wraith in high level your build and mentality differs so much from mine, just goes to show how great a game it is to allow playstyle diversity. Again I think its still best to wait for the game to release before solidifying builds and playstyles, but here's some ways I like playing Wraith. One thing i'd like to metion is the QSR rush in hard winning lanes, super underrated when combo'd with extra charge + mystic burst, you have a constant pressue of cards + gun damage, reducing downtime of reloads and high unexpected bursts during your 4, really makes up for Wraith's struggling laning phase. I'm not going to lie the 2nd ability max seems a bit troll to me, especially when comparing to the value from your alternatives. It's a great disengage tool and an amazing engager but the lessened cooldown doesn't come into affect unless you're getting into prolongued fights, which you shouldn't be happening too often in the early game. Extra/Superior stamina can give the extra movement needed in most cases to get away. I've noticed so many people overhyping Tesla and I used to be one of them. If you take it out of your build and replace you will hardly notice the difference. 3,000 souls for shock damage/firerate when something like Titanic holds so much more value is a nobrainer. Think of it like this, the extra bullets from the ammo capacity alone makes up for the shock damage in farming with Tesla, especially when it comes to single target fights. I've also found when you reach mid game, farming with Wraith is still insanely fast, so the value of Tesla lessens. I think Wraith is in a good spot when you combo Veil + titanic, its where you have the potential to snowball and take on an assassin route when playing her, rush 6k items and farm. Learning the map veil locations and picking isolated targets out with your bursts seems to be my playstyle, and if snowballed, Wraith has insane carry potential. Another thing which your build includes and I thought would be worthy of mentioning is when splitpushing/farming, using your abilities to maximise your ammo output. For example I tend to unload my full clip, followed by a Vamp burst or QSR to instantly reload, then active reload which can easily wipe out walkers quite early in the game. Its something super simple but I often see players unleashing their whole load at once and have nothing to follow up with. Overall amazing video, these were just my experiences playing Wraith, goodluck in the future!

Thank you for such a detailed comment, agree with a lot of your points! I'm a titanic magazine hater tbh, if you use qsr correctly after getting intensifying, you'll almost never have to reload anyways and theres better options out there. Very different playstyle you describe, I'll check it out!

Btw your build is up twice but one doesn't have tesla and a couple other bits I've found the melee lifesteal + spiritstrike rush early can be good for certain lane combinations to force early ganks but it seems your build is better for more situations. I'm looking forward to refining it down. I'd find a short vid where you run over when and why u use the more situational options really helpful Ty for the vid, v clear and useful
