I play everywhere I am, even without wifi, thanks to my unlimited 5G through Verizon. Also runs really nice on my iPhone 13 PM. So thankful I found out about remote play.

I found a fix for my issue. I opened the app and went to library and then consoles. For some reason it had two Xbox One’s listed. I clicked on the one that said it was on and presto, was able to start streaming. Hope this works for anyone else with this issue.

You have to be on the same WiFi network as your console. Which means you might as well just use a tv or monitor or projector. Maybe this is good if you want to play on your phone without buying a tv? Maybe the new Xbox let’s you remote play from different networks. But my Xbox one only allows remote play from the same network. Which means it’s not exactly remote.

@@JDiPaolo98 There’s a few ways to tell if you have the correct controller. If in the middle of the controller around the home button is plastic, it’s a 1st gen controller and won’t have Bluetooth. The obvious if you can connect it wirelessly, chances are it does. Just hold the top button down for a few seconds after the controller is turned on and you should see it on whatever device you have, may have to refresh the list, but usually just pops up. If you know all this/have tried already sorry to waste your time of reading xD Just trying to be helpful.
