43:00 this is why Dzukill takes W at level 2 in toplane. The E is proportionally more useful mid where the mobility and outplay potential is good, but it literally did 43 damage in this situation. In toplane the shield is super important if someone like Trundle wants to bite your face off. Also many toplaners are on a clock against Yone constantly poking for light but mostly guaranteed dmg against the W, and you want to start chipping at them as early as you can. Or in other words, E won't help you win a level 2 all-in against an Olaf but W definitely will

He has a lot of bad match ups, Irelia, Pantheon, tristana are some of the worst ones but ad assassins can also be good bans. You can just ban whatever you feel makes it unplayable, but I do recommend trying to play against that match up so you can learn how to play around it, that's why I never ban counters and only op champs

Gragas too his e means trading with your e is actually not worth a lot of the time. He just stuns you and full combos you everytime.

Do you have any specific advice on builds with the s14 items, as well as any combos they might be involved in? Because a lot of the old 'fancy yone tricks' involved items that no longer exist, and I always feel like there's too many items I want to build and I don't know how to value/prioritize things. Like the game always be telling me to rush shiv, which seems like a super dead end purchase that wouldn't ever be necessary unless someone like, picked sivir mid? And I feel guilty buying things without crit on them, even if they have attack speed, like some games I am facing three fed tanks and my brain says go botrk + terminus but then I have zero crit, what should I do?

Combos are still the same as last season. If you are referring to the last season galeforce combos, then I never used any of them personally because it was unnecessary. Many of the items are still the same, but terminus is getting better with the upcoming buffs so that's a solid item. You don't need to be that focused on getting crit on Yone because he isn't as reliant compared to Yasuo. Yasuo is forced to build crit ever since they changed his ultimate to only give armorpen on crits. Yone isn't limited to a crit build, so you can adjust your builds depending on who you're playing against. For survivability, you could do something like blade of the ruined king -> iceborn -> shieldbow -> infinity edge or deaths dance for example. I recommend not building what the game is telling you to, riot has no clue what to build on most champs

I've done it some times last season. It's better scaling than lethal tempo but worse early, so you have to decide what's better for you

It's one of the worst match ups for Yone, you can't do anything if he's playing it decent, just have to play complete passive to wait for jgl ganks

I played against: Tank malphite, ap nunu, sylas, vayne and syndra support. What items should I have built? Malphite and nunu super tanked me so I felt useless. I had a great lead too. Any help would be great as I'm a bronzie. Just trying to understand how I could've won :)

Welcome ! Yone is pretty versatile with items so you can build a lot of different items including Jak'Sho! I think the item is solid, but you probably want to build it into tankier comps (Bruisers, tanks) because this is where you get into the extended fights to fully proc the passive. Squishy champs just get deleted way too fast, most likely before your passive even gets to proc
