With Definitive Edition out soon, I’ve been really interested in RoA, and I’ve been super interested in Zetterburn specifically. I already main Wolf and Incineroar who share plenty of similarities it seems like, but watching sets of your Zetterburn specifically sold me on him. Very very excited to have a guide from the man himself! :)

I feel bad for aether. I havent played it but I can tell it has a strong competition and looks reaaaaalllllyyyyy good. So im gonna buy it. But back to the point its hard to be a platformer because you have to always be compared to smash and your always in its shadow which is sad.

@@dakotajennings578Something I like about this game is that it doesn't deny its smash roots. It wears its melee roots on its sleeve and incorporates other stuff from smash too ( dacus, rar ) and then adds its own thing. But it has its own identity which in part is from them not denying smash

For shine up-strong: Something that works really well for me is binding strong attacks to my left trigger as well. That way its just a small roll from special to jump then up and left trigger. Ever since I started doing it that way I got really consistent at it, and I don't have to worry about hitting a third button or flicking my thumb down to c stick.

it's somewhat advanced, but downb edgecancels are a important recovery mixup. It's hard to aim, but you can get the idea after labbing a little bit

Maybe do Clairen next, with DE coming out more people could be looking for guides on the "beginner friendly" characters. Or the opposite of that and do Forsburn, I have no idea what I'm doing on that character. Loving the series!

Hey I found out that if they party his dash attack as you input a up strong you won't go into the parry lag until you let go of the up strong charge

I feel like Zetter steamrolls slower characters. I play Kragg and find it very difficult to win neutral and escape disadvantage against rush down Zetter. I am also terrible at perrying, which makes counter play way harder for me. Any advice besides "Get good." Or "Play a better character."? What would help me in this MU?

tried using the shine > upsmash kill confirm, idk if they patched it out, but while I can get it 100% normally when I turn on the cpu's perfect di and drift it becomes just about impossible edit: and i'm trying on etalus at 100%

Definitely not patched out, just gotta be quick with the inputs and make sure zetterburn's body is inside etalus' when you shine!
