Good tip 👌. Kanjeevaram sarees are bit heavy so you must wear a good petticoat in the first place. Five pleats are enough and take a bit longer palla. Nothing will look bulgy.

If you pin a pallu and keep it knee length, you don’t have enough material to make 5-6 pleats. ( I am an average weight person, still I have seen this). Also, if you have got your saree pressed from the ‘ istriwala’, the press folds are a problem…

Hi ma'am, pls suggest saree draping for short women less than 5 feet, since the sari looks clumsy becoz of the tucking at the abdomen and makes you look more shorter. Also the petticoats are not customised for shorter women. Pls help
