How to polish around the fuel cap on a tank. - Evan's Detailing and Polishing

In this video I show how to polish around a fuel cap on a fuel tank. I show the exact technique I use to not leave lines around it. I hope you find this video helpful when you are polishing. All the little stuff comes down to finesse and technique.

great vid evan i was wondering if you ship that hand polish i think its call lumos or something along thos lines to your canadian neighbors it seems really good for tight spots were a wheel wont fit like the end cap on that tank your working on. also the way you hold that grinder is amazing i still use the handle but iam trying to hold it like you its just scary in some spots especially wheels cheers

Hey man I’ve got a question... if you were to sand then polish an aluminum dirt bike frame and swing arm, what tools would you recommend?

All the same tools I use on tanks and wheels. Aluminum is aluminum. I have a video here on my channel on how to sand and polish a vintage motorcycle frame. Same thing as your dirt bike frame. I use the 2 step polishing kit from goshineon.com/shop to accomplish the job.

Always watch where your cord is at. If you don’t it will be self explanatory

Just started watching your videos and really love the good detailed info . I’ve used a acid aluminum brightner and it made my wheels and everything look clean , but they look like a chalky white looking finish . As a beginner and I love having a clean truck . What would you recommend to me as being a beginner to help bring back that shine ? I was looking at the two stage kits ?

If it's chalky white you will need to do some sanding first to get it polishable. I'll have some videos this winter on how to fix this issue.
