How to polish big flat face aluminum boxes. Evan’s detailing and polishing.

In this video, I walk you through how to polish flat face boxes.  Especially since they’re long, flat faced boxes and you’d have to normally split them in the middle. I show you exactly how I split them without leaving a seam or a line in the middle. The simple three-step process works great in all applications. If your box is rough, I will definitely send it before this procedure. But this is the quickest route.

Hey Evan, do you ever get worried about cross contamination between your cut and finish? I always wipe off the excess rouge between but noticed you didnt. Was just curious if i am wasting my time doing that if I dont need to. Thanks!

The compounds I use are all from the same family of ingredients. So I do not worry about cross contamination. But if I was using compounds not of the same family I would definitely clean in between to keep from contaminating them.

I know a guy on the KZbin who works his knuckles to the grind. He runs a 84 Pete cab over up around the north east coast, calls his truck Orwell, she's a beauty in need of some tlc.
