I am so glad I came across the app, even though more or less by accident. What I could wish for, is for it also to be made for computers. So you can twist and turn and create your own references, when you can't find pose references by searches in normal ways, from the pc. I like that you have a werewolf model included

I am incredibly impressed by this app and am thankful that I found it. I'm going through a phase in my life where I prefer to do figure drawings, but I struggle to find anything that I want to draw. This app is a godsend for that reason. I'm wondering, have you considered adding a 'muscle' option/skin in the future? I've been doing anatomy studies and drawing static muscle is all good and well, but I often find that I can't get the angles I want, or I can't find pictures that can provide me with an almost 'stop motion' like effect, where I can study how muscles stretch and squish when they move from one motion to another. Another idea for the future could be an ability to turn the model 'see through', in the sense that, for example, if we take an angled picture where the legs might normally be hidden, we'd be able to vaguely see through the model and make out hidden body parts. It'd be a great tool for learning and understanding where shapes are, even when hidden. Even without the two, this app I'd amazing and I very much compliment you on your hard work! If one wants, one can already learn quite a bit from it.

When I published the first version of Poseit I had no expectations whatsoever, but the best case scenario for was for me to be able to help other artists exactly as you described. Needles to say I feel very proud and happy to read your experience with Poseit! I am trying to work on the next update (even if finding the time to do it gets harder and harder lately) and there, if everything goes well, you should find the an anatomy version of the mannequin and much more. The transparency option is very interesting and I will think about it! If you really feel like supporting me more then what you probably did already by removing the ads, there should be a support section in the options, from there you can donate some more, it will be just that without adding anything to the app. Thanks again!!

Oh wow, such a wonderful App, had to directly donate for it. Just in case you need some more ideas ;) being able to edit and save finger poses, same for the foot and the toes as the toes are not yet present and don’t interact with other props, only the floor, displaying some sort of isolines or wireframes on top, being able to change the color for each model, not only all at once and finally saving the whole scene, not just the posing but also the camera with it. Oh and just a faint idea, maybe some sort of keyable poses to be able to scrub through some motion poses, nothing fancy, just simple linear interpolation :)

I downloaded a bulk of posing and anatomy apps to l learn better intuitive drawing, I went through a few of them but this one was clearly above and beyond in quallity. It is amazing, unlocked pro, did a bunch of scenes which I am happy with and ended up with better grasp on anatomy and spacing. I cannot express how great this is!

Your demonstration of this app looks very cool 😮☺. Do you have any plans to add the ability to change each model's height? I feel that this is important when posing multiple characters together because normal people vary in height. Some can be short and some can be tall, and this would be very obvious when putting the models next to each other, and trying to pose them together.

Great app, I bought the Pro version. If I may give you an advice you should think of an option to bend the feet independetely from the ground. It could be useful to draw poses where the feet are not on the ground but still bent.

You can save the scene but not the pose. It is something I have to implement for sure.

I'm currently testing a lot of 3D posers and so far this app is the most straightforward one to use. The only thing that has been missing is the feature for us to move the hands on the way we want it. It seems like we can't rotate, or move the hands and it could help us a lot if we can move the fingers on our own instead of presets. Looking forward for updates!

Hi Red,thanks! The whole hands should be movable like any other body part, even more actually since you can also drag them around with inverse kinematics. ...maybe there is something wrong, did you check the "how to poseit" video? Just to be sure you didn't miss anything? For the fingers I agree, I need to think of a good way to make them easy to pose, these are many tiny bones, like one hand has more joints than the whole body. We will see

I think you had to have a library with ready-made poses, because sometimes we want something simple like a guy walking or running and we have to edit it all that would look much better and it was small adjustments

You do have a pose gallery with readymade poses. Is that what you mean? Soon you will be able to also save custom poses.

@mauri first of all, I want to thank you for this magnificent app, it IS a lifesaver! I have two questions: can I flip the pose? for example, if the right arm is in front of the body, if I flip it in one click, the left arm will be in front. if I'm creating a scene with two characters, can i make one of them as big as a giant? and the other one small like a dwarf? i tried to make the two characters in different sizes, but I couldn't. thanks a lot!

About the features you are describing, they are not there yet, I implemented the scaling one for the next update, the mirroring was being discussed in the Facebook group with another user. I will try to squeeze it in for the next update as well :). Hopefully I will menage to finalize the update within the next one or two months.

Hi, so I realize the mannequin is supposed to be quite simplified. But the elbow is not entirely a simple hinge joint - the forearm can actually rotate along the bone axis - that's supination and pronation. Currently I can only rotate the hand in PoseiT, but it doesn't connect to the forearm correctly. (as the forearm doesn't rotate with it driven by the IK, as it should) Allowing for forearm rotation would be a good update. edit: I guess for you it's an issue, because this rotation actually happens inside the forearm, and it changes its shape. So it'd have to be some kind of morph or something, rather than a simple rotation of the 3d model of the forearm.

Hi, you are absolutely right, the forearm should have that kind of behaviour but, also as you said,q the model wants to be a simplified version of the human body. Nevertheless I don’t exclude some more realistic “twisting” of the forearm might come in some future update but still I don’t think it will be ever 100% realistic, after all…it’s a wooden puppet :)

Hi, so I have a question. I have been using the app and its very good but one thing I’m struggling with is how to make a prop independent cause if I tap something else other then the mannequin it gets attached to it like the props get attached to the mannequin, if you can help that would be wonderful.

Of course, you simply have to tap an empty space when you are about to spawn it, or you can change the parent of a prop at any time by hitting the target icon and tapping the new parent (or empty space to make it independent)

@@MadocFenrayBlue if someone has the same question, there are actually 2 ways, one is to just scale the mannequin in the posing scene: with a body part selected tap the mannequin button>tap the customize mannequin button, tap the scale button that will appear on the radial menu on top of the selected mannequin. The other one is to make a new mannequin in the workshop scene scaling the legs and body parts to your liking.

Hi, you need to edit the pelvis. Tap that and drag with 2 fingers or pinch to move it close to you or further away.

In the next update you will be able to have as many mannequin you want, they might impact the performance on your device though (depending on which kind of device you have ofc)so careful :) I am not sure what you mean with grid lock feature though, would you mind explain it more please?

@@mauri4912 Hey man Thanks for the reply 🙏 Mauri, when we open PoseIt the manikin stands in a default camera angle(which is front facing, one point perspective), Now lets say we would like to change the pose into a running one and then rotate the camera to give it a cool look, at this point let's consider that I am very much happy with the camera angle, I would like that angle to be locked in that particular view so that it doesn't change the view whether it be two point or three point perspective, while I could still edit the manikin. love everything about this application. I hope you can understand what I just explained ☺️, I use two devices, the latest ipad 2021 running M1 chip and pixel 3 just to mess around. I appreciate the amount of work you are putting on this Application. Thank you again 🙏🙏🙏.

@@ferengarajbrahma5455 Maybe what you need is already there, did you try the camera book marks? if you tap on the camera icon, under the slider to change the Focal length there are 3 bookmark icons. if you hold one you will store your camera POV and you can recall it at any time by tapping the same button (instead of holding it, which would override the preview bookmark). Is that what you were referring to?

Yep, edit the hips, that's the root of the skeletal chair. Tap that and drag with 2 fingers or pinch.
