HOW TO POSITION YOUR STRIKER

Placing the striker in the right place on the baseline within the time limit is very important to the player. If a player struggles to place the striker on the baseline and it takes too long, then the player will lose his turn. Losing a turn is quite detrimental to the player and the player should avoid this. The player must position the striker within the baseline (touch two lines) or position on the two base circles at either end of the baseline. First thing you should do is follow your gut and find the best position to place your striker along the baseline or on the base circle. Once you know and decide to place the striker then you aim the carrommen direct to the pocket. You also need to consider the pressure apply to the striker and hit the carrommen pocket perfectly.
