Nice video. I use 1/2 inch backer rod but I use wood dowel 3/16 inch as a backbone to the backer rod. You can split the backer rod and place it inside allowing approximately 1/2 inch on the end going down into the ear to be uncut and without the dowel so that the end acts as a cushion. This gives perfect padding and shape along with the rigid support needed as well.

Hi! I have a doberman Joy she is 13 months old. Her ears were not cropped right and now one (the bigger one) wont stand up i guess because its too havy? The bottem she can hold up but the top flips down she even started to get a small fold in the middel is it still worthed to be taping her ears? Thanks

There is a vet in Ohio named Dr. Midgarden that can do corrective surgery for the ear that won't stand.

I post them but then my puppy plays with my boxer and she lays on her head upside down and messes them all up within a few hours. It’s so annoying. I can’t keep my dogs apart. They are supposed to be bonding This pup is 12 weeks old? Isn’t that a little old to have ears cropped? Only had them posted twice? My pup was cropped and posted ever since 6 weeks old.

But why???? You take a perfectly beautiful puppy, and you slice up it ears, stretch them and stick them up.. but why??? I don't get it.. have never seen a doberman with this done (apart from online)
