All I can say is he's helped me know and follow Jesus more so if he is a supposed 'false teacher' he's not doing a very good job!

Rob bell is a new blessing in my life, lots of positive energy coming from this being, and I'm glad to discover him, even if I have no religious background at all. But in this interview it was you Lewis, who introduced me with this mind blowing and altering concept of your story about not having birthdays and not emphasizing our age, not for motivation nor limitation. An idea you are rarely (if not never) come across in our western society, that is all one big fetish about numbers, age, achievements, putting people into categories based on these numbers, and building self-worth and self-compass around those twisted ideas. This comment probably won’t ever be seen since I’m five years late to this video, but I had an Oldsmobile Ninety Eight when I was in college. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING fell apart on it but the engine. It kept running despite the steering wheel literally falling out of the column. I was nick named “hoop rod harlot” (affectionately, ironically cause I’m not a harlot lol). The trunk lock broke and it wouldn’t close and not having any money (college) I used a bungee chord to shut it but it would “kachunk” when I’d go over bumps and sound like a dead body in my trunk. The locks didn’t work, the windows wouldn’t roll up, and the antenna got stuck if you turned on the radio. True story, somebody actually stole the car and I was like, yay! New car! But then it was found dumped it in a random parking garage and I had to keep driving it til I graduated and got my first real job. Good times.

My sentiments are the same. It’s disgusting how Rob Bell can blatantly LIE to his viewers. Teaching a false doctrine to his audience. Teaching to idolize self. The serpent in the garden spoke similarly to Adam and Eve...idolize self and do as you please, encouraging them to rebel, saying “you too shall be like gods.” 2 Tim. 4:3-4), “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.”

Many churches have split through supposed heritical behavior. A break away from catholicism. Your church im sure has its roots in disagreements and splits. Simply i think this way and not your way. @@theguyver4934 The issue with that, with the first part of what you said, is that the cross itself didn’t need saving; on its own it was just two beams of wood. What happened on the cross was the due penalty being fully paid out for sin. Christ said right before He died hanging on it “It is finished”, meaning that what you and I couldn’t give, He did. I’ve only had a few conversations in the past with Muslim people regarding this; I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, which unfortunately is not Christianity, and didn’t hear the gospel until as an adult. I am indeed a Christian (specifically Reformed Baptist)..so then how do you see things like Jesus, human sin, how is salvation attained? The Muslim people believe He was a prophet, yes?
