Interesting. However what Phra Phromma is holding does hold significant meaning. Phra Phromma is not a Buddha at all but is one of the many Hindu Brahmas that had personally beseech Lord Shakyamuni Siddharta Gautama Buddha to preach and teach Buddha Dharma to all sentient beings. Phra Phromma with one foot on the ground represents willingness and compassionate kindness to help and assist those who faithfully follow and believe in Buddha Dharma or Dhamma. Phra Phromma and Lord Ganesha or in Thai Phra Pikanet Phra Pikanetsuan are usually worshipped together. If you are wearing a amulets, the middle amulet on your necklace chain should be Phra Buddha , left is Phra Phromma and right side is Lord Ganesha. This combination is a balance of protection, good health, good financial status, loving kindness and successes.

Hi! Though it is not wrong, for temple praying I don't recommend to do so. However for this a particular Thai temple (Wat Ananda Metyarama), they do have a pail of water for us to refill bottles and bring back home. It's placed at the side of the temple, on your left right when you step out of the praying hall.

Totally wrong and misleading information. He is one of the Supreme Hindu Deity, "Brahma" after Vishnu and Shiva He is believed to be a Creator of Cosmos and Beings. He is not a Buddha. However, Buddhism has its root in Hinduism. Hindus do believe Buddha is its 9th incarnation or "avatar" of " Vishnu". The 10th will be final the "Kalki" . S/he will born to destroy the world so that a very fresh start can be made.

Hi there, yes from the first comment below I have realised that. Thank you for explaining further. All these are based on my knowledge solely - I have used the calling term wrongly. Moving on, most importantly the purpose of creating this video is in hope to being a guide for people who have doubts when coming to pray to four faced brahma. However, thank you for actually going in depth into the history of 4 faced brahma. It will be another added knowledge to it.

In this video I am trying to share my way of praying based on my personal Thai beliefs, not the history of it because I certainly didn't go in depth with that - Please also notice my video title has since changed to Brahma after viewers' correction and acknowledgement of this mistake, long time back. I certainly won't be able to change what I said in the video since it's been done. Also in Thai beliefs, we believe as long as we pray with a sincere heart, that is the most important. As mentioned, my main purpose of this video is show the ways on how to pray to him. I didn't go in depth into anything else. In Singapore, it's commonly known as that. Brahma may be misunderstood by western thinkers and Christianity. Because a lot of Christians don’t study theology so they don’t understand other cultures way of perceiving an infinite God. Because in mostly in Christianity, if you don’t have a firm base in Scripture, you may be led astray by other thinkers. However, if you wanted to be an evangelist, you’d have to be so strong in your own knowledge of your faith That you could be an evangelist and talk to people in their own vernacular understanding what they’ve been raised to believe to give them something that they may have never thought of. In Hinduism, there is one God. You think there are many gods. That is wrong. In the beginning in the Vedas and the sauce, Rus, which mean Hindu scriptures, which were written way before any of the other scriptures that you pray to, there was one manifestation of a supreme absolute God - Guru Sakshat Para Brahma. everything else came from that one supreme manifestation. So everything you see is a deviation or divination of that one consciousness. Because God is too vast to conceive in his absolute form with our limited understanding you fall in love with the aspect of God that draws the most love and devotion from your heart. So you can conceptualize something that is inconceivable. It’s not a different God it’s just the part of God you identify with because God will speak to you in the language of your heart and goddess everything you ever imagined at all times. So if you were wondering how to fall head over heels in love a gun I can’t tell you. God will speak to you specifically to how you understand things and I can’t show you how to do it unfortunately but maybe you should study about it because when you knock it will be . answered.
