This seems very legalistic, it sounds like if you don't cross every tea and Dot every eye just right then your prayers are ineffective! I don't think it's any virtual basis for this.

I agree. Right after I listened to this, I asked some brothers with more Bible knowledge than me about this because it didn’t sit right with me. I respect Watchman Nee and his teachings but he’s also human and I think he’s a bit off with some of these ideas. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” - Hebrews 4:16
