Incredibly helpful for an IMG intern starting on Epic for the first time.

Hi Dr. Jeong, thank you so much for making these videos. I have been asking so many people for years how to go about workflow, but I've always been told "you'll figure out what works for you" instead of shown a way of how to do it. I wanted to request whether you could do a video on pre-charting a patient who has had a long hospital stay. I've been getting lost in the sea of information and have been worried about appearing unprepared when probed on specifics from several weeks ago. Thank you again!

Your videos are AMAZING! So helpful for seeing the forest through the trees and thinking about how to categorize the endless reams of data to understand what's significant. Curious - a lot of this seems to depend on having the technology of the EMR mastered! When do med students get training in how to learn EPIC (or whichever EMR they use)? I could easily see your entire pre-round destroyed because of unfamiliarity with the tech.

Thank you!!! 😊 Mastering the EMR takes a lot of practice. Only way to learn is to just keep using it and asking others for their own “hacks” and tips. Our med students get a training session before starting wards, I believe. It’s probably not nearly enough. You learn most of it on the job!

What are last three values on your fishbone diagram? What do they represent. I never seen that before. By the way, thanks for making this awesome video Dr. Jeong~

Sheesh, hope you're more polite to your patients! The volume could probably be softer, I agree. Thanks for the tip!
