How to Pre-Wash Crochet Locs

I struggle with eczema and one of my problem areas is my scalp. Crochet locs used to irritate my scalp until I learned how to wash them using 3 ingredients: water, apple cider vinegar, and conditioner.

I’m so glad that I came across your page. I was having the same issue with crotchet are and have eczema as well. I could only keep them in for about 3 days before I took them out and washed my hair. It had irritated my scalp so much.

Oh my Gosh!! Thank you for this video!! I have eczema as well & I got my hair braided with synthetic hair about 7 months ago without knowing to pre-wash them & within days my scalp was itching like crazy & had to take them out. I was so disappointed. I'm wanting to get synthetic locs to try it out again but have been hesitant & scared about my scalp irritating again. Now I feel a lil bit better with coming across this video!! I'm going to use this method. Thank you so much!!

Those locs turned out so beautiful on you😍 it seems like you chose an awesome brand because they didn't seem to frizz or expand. I love how they stayed in tact. apple cider vinegar ALWAYS gets the job done for scalp irritation. how did the shampoo cover the smell? was there still a stinch or did the shampoo wash the odor away?

Thank you! Yes, I really liked this brand. To my surprise the shampoo did a really good job with covering up the smell. To my surprise it actually washed the odor away.

No reason. I've seen some people use shampoo along with the vinegar rinse and some don't. I've done both before.
