How to prep a file for the Glowforge Aura Passthrough in Inkscape!

Why did u duplicate??

You can avoid duplicating by using "division" instead but I find that when you're not as used to Inkscape, this is a bit easier just based on the couple of times I've walked people through this :)

I saved text (switched to path) as SVG as suggested, but when I upload it into Glowforge it says “No Artwork”. I’m using a Mac for both Inkscape and Glowforge. Thoughts?

Hi! Have you made sure that you're selecting just the object and not a group?

Instead of the text being by itself like yours I have the whole box that’s after I hit difference

Hi! Can you check on the right (the objects panel) to see if you selected just the text and not a grouping? If you select the group it won't work.
