Hi, thanks for this. But I have a question, why did you add 50ml of water if you already have 100ml water in the flask?

Initially 100 mL volumetric flask is empty... We transferred 100 mg NaCl in it and then add 50 mL water to dissolved the NaCl and finally make up to volume with water.

By definition ppm is 1mg of solute disoolve in 1 liter of solvent. 1liter is 1000ml, that's why 1000 ml is constant in all cases of 10ppm, 100ppm and 1000 ppm solution. However, you can also prepare solution in less volume as per your requirement by adjusting the weight of solute. Examples have been mentioned in later part of video.
