In this video, Ontario Lawyer Heather Douglas demonstrates how to put together an Affidavit.
An affidavit is a "sworn statement". Affidavits are required, for example, if you have a court hearing ("motion") that takes place before the trial occurs, and you prepare a document to tell the judge and the responding party "your story".
