@TheICUChannel....Is it necessary to write training. Can two years working experience certificate in ICU make eligible for EDIC? How it differs training and working experience

• EDIC Part I entry criteria are: 1) Fully-registered Medical Doctor (i.e. internship completed), 2) Entry into or completion of a national training programme in a primary specialty and 3) Entry into a national training programme in Intensive Care Medicine or satisfactory completion of 18 months’ training in Intensive Care Medicine. (Criteria 2) and 3) are fulfilled if Intensive Care Medicine is recognised as a primary specialty). • EDIC Part II: Successful completion of EDIC Part I, and 24 months of training in Intensive Care Medicine. www.esicm.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/EDIC-Guidelines-2017.pdf

depends.. if want to purse intensive care EDIC is good but if want to continue with anaesthesia then EDAIC is better it seems.

Yes can do without PG , only thing 24 months of ICU training is required

@@klebsiella90 yup, absolutely. I myself did based on that . But earlier it was 2 years course , now it’s FCCCM and AFIC … so u need to clear both (1-1 year each) . This will equal to 24 months
