I have always been following tips 1,3 and 4. I will follow 2 and 5 as well. All of them were helpful but I think tip number 4 is the most helpful tip. It also prevents from getting distracted during exams.

I have one tip. That is, when reading a chapter, take a pencil, and go on underlining while you read. It will make you conscious about what you are reading, and it will also make you think that the chapter is completed in less time than it used to take before. If you don't want to make your book dirty, then you may not do it, but if you already mark or underline on your text books, then you should try this tip
