Did you say Police Clearance certificates for every countries the applicant has lived? Then those documents need to be translated into English?

Do you have a video about police records for NVC? I read on the NVC web site that if the person has lived in the US they don't need a USA police record. My lawyers are asking me to get a police record from Palm Beach County. I lived there long ago. But why do I need to bother trying to get that document if it's not necessary?

My wife As a US citizen and step mother to my son who lives overseas has filed I-130 for him in june 25 2022 .My wife and I got married in september 2008 while my son at the time was 16 years old. Based on many videos i watched specially your video my wife can apply to sponsor my son but since almost 2 years since she applied for him we havent recieved any respond from the USCIS. can you please explain why till today after 2 years havent heared anything from the USCIS? thank you so much for everything, Skander

Because at the time of filing he was already over 21 years old. So the wait time for him may be long - check the visa bulletin for F1 category if he’s still unmarried

When you are applying for adjustment of status for parents already in US, do you recommend to put all their applications in one enveloppe to be mailed to USCIS or do you recommend to mail them into 2 separate FEDEX/ USPS/UPS enveloppes with separate tracking numbers?

I went to my biometrics appointment on November 17 and they did not approve my work permit yet, I was waiting for that. The approval of the i130 took me by surprise

If my wife’s income for the most current last year only is 30k but for the other two years before her income is lower than what they need, in this case should we need a cosponsor or my wife she’s able to sponsor me by herself ? yeah i did my ds-260 perfectly until i used the scroll wheel on my mouse and accidentally changed date of marriage. embassies are not responding to emails so be prepared to wait.

Hi @KseniyaInternational, I have a question regarding joint sponsor. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thing is my mom will be the joint sponsor for my husband and I barely started working around July myself so that mean I won’t probably make enough tax return. My mom live in her boyfriend house basically and bills does not come under her name even if she does pay rents sometimes and she have no obligation with his two children( both age 20-22) but they all do live together. So my question is do they need to be included in household size still and will that affect our joint sponsorship situation? Thank you!

Hello, review the form instructions to see who MUST be counted in a sponsor’s household size vs who CAN be counted. Boyfriends/girlfriends and adult children are not part of that unless they’re claimed on taxes.

There was no death certificate. In Africa they hardly have those documents. I sent an affdavit stating his death and all. But they rejected it.

Most likely, civil documents require applicants to provide police certificate from countries they’ve resided after age 16 for more than 1 year.
