How to Prepare for The Biometrics Appointment at USCIS - Marriage Green Card Applicants - Lawfully

I have an appointment for fingerprints because USCIS put my birth year wrong on my green card. The appointment notification says I must bring a photo ID, in this case because it is an I90 application it says I must bring the green card. My question is: Are they going to keep the green card? Will they leave me without my green card? Thank you.
