How to prepare RTC and Dolphin to make GameCube BIOS Corruptions

This quick tutorial shows you how to make a setup for corrupting the Gamecube's BIOS. You can also refer to it if you just want to have the GC Intro to start whenever you boot a game.

do you know how to limit the volume of the dolphin window with wvl? when i select it it only tries to limit the game selection window

can i get the download page to the game? my mario sunshine seems to be incompatible with dolphin (its a .rtz)

the dolphin version in rtc cant read .rvz files. you can use the normal up to date unmodded dolphin to convert rvz back to iso. rvz is one of the rare format that is lossless so the resulting iso shouod be identical to the original.

There is one problem with this method. You can't go into the BIOS menu settings to see what else the corrupted added in.

just hold A on the controller to enter the settings. (this also works on a real console, when you hold A, the cube starts spinning and it cancels the game loading and goes straight into the settings)

When i unmark the "Skip BIOS" checkmark, the game doesn't start anymore. Even trying to start the game in the main window.

for some reason after I add the .bin file, the option to skip the main menu is still grayed out in dolphin, but when I do the same thing on unmodded dolphin it allows me to untick it.

add the .bin file to the RTC Dolphin folder, not to original (you can right click Dolphin in launcher and select "Open Folder") i hope i am not late
