You have really given a thorough and precise tutorial throughout your method of preparing the fish. It's really looking delightful. You are extremely patience . I like the secret ingredient ( lime). We use lime or lemon. You are so right about the odor that the smoked herring left when it's roasted in the house. Coolie bhai had a beautiful plate of goodness, and his review was on point. You live and learn. Because of the bones, i did not like smoke herring unless my gran cooked it and she used to fry it. She has been gone for 30 years and have not had it. But i like the way you are doing it and will try it. I will report back from Canada. Lol lol.
