@@zoobaby1820 I am a master cosmetologist student so I do have one question for you If you don't mind me asking. Are We allowed to apply the nail tips prior to the test or should we wait until the day of the test?

@@cynnsantana9973 You have to have the Tips already applied. Use gorilla glue to stick them. Have them on all five fingers because you don’t know which finger they’re going to choose during the test. If you watch my other video of the step by step you will see how I had them. It’s not the best video but I hope it helps you with a step by steps.

@@cynnsantana9973 You also wanna make sure that they are attach to the hand. They can deduct points if one falls off or there’s a nail missing. So just make sure they are fully there

You are so welcome, the theory was very tricky but I passed. Make sure to read the side note on your book. That’s where almost all the answers to the quiz are. :) I hope that helps.

You need to have acrylic. No smell. No polygel or builder gel. All the steps are in the book. They go by the book.

You only need one 🤗 you will use that one hand for everything. Make sure your nails are in tightly on your hand. Use crazy glue . You are going to do great 💪

I just came across your video I'm a licensed manicurist of 31 years I keep my license updated I'm a little rusty but I still know all of my steps. 👌🏼🥰. I don't know if you guys use PSI as a testing agent but they no longer require a lot of this stuff you can now take your test in the privacy of your home providing you don't have a lot of children pets parents or family or friends that's making noise or in the home during the time of testing. Or you can take the exam at your school which is also a good thing.

What about the blood exposure steps?

For the blood exposure , I had a Separate bag that included a bandage , glove , Qtip or a lint free nail wipe , and a antiseptic cream. I hope that helps . Make sure the bag is labeled as your exposure bag .

Do you require to have a cosmetology degree to be a nail tech in GA?

Hi, where did you get your cosmetology license?In GA once you pass the nail tech test ( with all your hours) you are good to go and get your license. If you did cosmetology here in GA with nail included then you are good to go in becoming a nail tech if that’s what you would like to do instead of hair. I hope that helped answer your question.

I do not have a cosmetology degree yet, and I am interested in being a nail tech when I move to GA in few months. Here in TX requires to have a cosmetology degree before going to a nail tech school.

@@Sophornkhmer oh awesome!! Here you can get your Nail tech license and you are good to go . There’s a school in Norcross , GA that does Nail tech only . You don’t need cosmetology, you only need to find a school that will give do the credits for just nails. Once you finish school they( the school) will send your hours it to the state and the state will send you an email where you can go in and start getting ready for both of your test.

Hi, My school provided me with a “Cherokee Men & Women Scrubs Lab Coat Workwear Revolution Tech 40" Snap Front WW350AB” this one i found it on Amazon for you. Something like this works. Sneakers ( no open toe shoes) some people wore just black scrubs with no white lab coat.Also don’t bring your phone inside testing ( you will not pass if they find out you brought your phone inside testing room).
