Thank you so much sir for this channel. it's very informative and encouraging. how do we address gap years? Do we mention it in our personal statement or we should just leave it and if someone asks in an interview then only we highlight it. A lot of people have struggles but most of us don't know how to communicate our gap year efficiently. Especially if you are a girl and you have it just because of marital/family issues/immigration sort of thing and you couldn't do anything for at least a year after graduation. I mean I don't know how to address those struggles in good words or how to respond to someone if they ask what were you doing in that year.

Sir, do we put skills and competencies like language fluency and other qualities like we used to put in old formats and a lot of job boards also asks put them.. e.g., leadership, time management, etc. Thank you so much.

Sure you can but I dont think listing them significantly helps you in anyway. These are the things that are typically mentioned in your letter of recommendation and NOT in CV.
