Top soil or campose?
@MilorganiteFertilizer4 жыл бұрын
Before sodding or seeding prepare your soil by incorporating several inches of organic matter such as compost into the top 6-8 inches of soil. Gently work in the Milorganite into the soil.

Why was the dirt not wetted before laying sod ?
@MilorganiteFertilizer Жыл бұрын
Hi, Angel, We recommend to first prep your soil by incorporating several inches of organic matter, such as compost, into the top 6-8 inches of soil. Milorganite should be mixed into the top 2-4 inches of soil before laying sod to help establish and feed the roots. Water after laying new sod, enough to penetrate the sod and 2 inches of the existing soil. From day 2 on, keep your sod and soil moist throughout the day. The roots are short, so the sod cannot take large amounts of water at any single time. Other than the first day, the ground under the sod should never be soggy. Usually, watering 4 to 6 times during the day, for approximately 5 to 6 minutes each, is required until the roots are established. Root establishment will usually begin within 7 to 14 days. Is this ok for st Agustin grass ??
@MilorganiteFertilizer2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Johnny, Yes! Milorganite works on all grass species, including St Augustine. You don’t have to worry about streaks, stripes, or accidentally burning your lawn when you use Milorganite! It contains virtually no salts, even in the hottest temperatures or driest conditions. You don’t have to water it in. It’ll stay in the soil ready to work when moisture becomes available.
