I’m less than 24 hours away from submitting my dissertation and wanted to make things prettier and clearer and I wish I found this months ago! Thank you! I look forward to watching more of you videos to improve for publication after my defense. This is seriously so great! 🥰

Pls share the article from which this template for reporting results is taken from.

This not taken from an article. This is my template based on my own publishing history. You can cite my book Applied Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS if you need a citation.

Thank you Prof for demystifying SEM using AMOS. Your book on Applied SEM using AMOS is a masterpiece! My question is that why is CONSTANT not generated and reported in SEM unlike regression analysis where constant is showing in the results alongside with other independent variables? What implication does it have on SEM results and interpretation?
@joelcollier93872 жыл бұрын
With simple regression the constant is an interpretable value. With SEM where it has multiple independent and dependent variables being assessed simultaneously the constant value is not interpretable. Thus, that is why you never see the constant reported in SEM results. Hope that helps.

Thank you Joel for this informative video! In my case that I'm doing a SEM model with mixed of observable and latent variables, I wonder in this case is it okay to just provide alpha instead of CFA since only one variable is latent? Thanks in advance.
@joelcollier93872 жыл бұрын
If you only have one unobserved variable, then there is no need for CFA. You should be fine with the alphas

Very concise presentation and good to follow! But I have a follow up question: Let's say, we have a SEM without latent variables, i.e., only observed variables, is it still necessary (and even possible) to report a CFA?
@joelcollier93872 жыл бұрын
No need for a CFA if it is only observable variables. That is for latent variables.
