Not only does she knows about gardening, she also knows about cooking as well, great work sistah ❤

I found her channel based on "chaos gardening". I now have 1 bed dedicated to an experiment of the chaos. Watch it produce the most food!

Going to try to preserve a lot more this year! I have only dried herbs so far. Excited to try canning and pickling! Thanks for the great info!

That’s so exciting that you’ve already started! Drying herbs is honestly one of the most cost saving. In the store they’re just too expensive! Excited for you to expand into canning! 💚

As an avid gardener and canning aficionado I find that I am always growing more than I can use up as a family of 2 as well! I fight with myself every year to not make the garden bigger, but I am losing that battle again this year! Growing amaranth and quinoa for the first time so I hope I succeed, this will be my second year growing sweet potatoes, last year was not very successful. Northern Michigan doesn’t have a very long growing season so some of my new plants may not finish before frost….like peanuts and sweet potatoes 🤪. Enjoying your content keep Up the good work!

I am in zone 5b/6a (Canada), and we have had the craziest 'el nino' winter here! We already have buds and blooms on things, and are direct sowing our cool crops earlier than ever. Can't wait to see what this season has in store for everyone :) p.s. love your hair! Lol

There were 2 things about your clips on Epic Gardening that sold me on you: your soothing presentation, and your cooking/preservation/herb stuff. ...Oh wait, 3 things! I like that you call yourself a lazy gardener, which is also me. 😂 Unfortunately, I've never been any good at thinking up what to cook with the things I have, even after 43 years of life. I keep hoping I'll learn techniques eventually!

you have to try jalapeno bread with all those peppers! (it's the best and simplest!) throw these ingredients in your bread maker and set it on basic white bread setting 1 jalapeno minced 1 1/4 cup water 3 tbs sugar 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup oil 4 1/2 cups bread flour 1 3/4 tsp dry active yeast

Ive wasted too many peppers these last 2 years just because id throw them in the fridge and forget to use them. Especially serrano peppers 😬
@meggrowsplants8 ай бұрын
Ahhhh! Sounds like you need this video then! Such an easy thing to do is just throw them in a pickle jar or dehydrate them! They store dehydrated whole in an air tight jar for a year!
@GreedyGreedent8 ай бұрын
@@meggrowsplants What do you do with dried peppers? Do you use them like seasoning or to add spice to a dish? Very curious!
@meggrowsplants8 ай бұрын
@@GreedyGreedent yes, you can make your own blends with them if you grind them up into powder, you can make sole pepper powder to use on meats, veggies, soups, etc. or you can dehydrate them whole, and throw them into soups and stews for a spicy kick!
@GreedyGreedent8 ай бұрын
