How to Preserve Spinach and other Leafy Vegetables: Spinach, Ugu, Water Leaves, Afang, Oha
For the spinach, I only preserved them in the states that make sense for recipes I use them for:
1. As chopped frozen spinach
2. As ground spinach
Frozen Spinach Afang Soup: • NIGERIAN "AFANG" SOUP ...
You can wilt them in the pan without chopping them first and freeze.
Immersion blenders I believe can do a good job of grinding the vegetables:
Buy in the USA: amzn.to/31F3kqH
Buy in the UK: amzn.to/31EpHfM

❤ My spice grinder:

❤ My Pressure cooker is Fagor, they no longer make this model. Here is a similar one:

This video just opened my eyes. It has made me realise how much money I waste whenever I throw spoilt veggies away. I have taken things for granted because I can easily get these veggies here. I will now be freezing excess veggies from now on. Thanks Flo, this your ministry na 💪 Happy Easter ♥️

I think there is a less labor intensive way of getting the same result by blanching the spinach in a boiling hot water for 3 minute. Take it out and cool in ice cubed water, drain and squeeze out water from the leaves, and use the immersion blender to puree it.
