Am annoyed by my line graph. My source data is between 6-9 but which is pH by month, but my line graph drops to zero for some months yet my source data is above zero

If actual results = 0, How to show 0 in chart?

The "#N/A" just looks ugly. My solution (for me): Go to Chart Design> Select Data > Hidden and Empty Cells > Select "Show #N/A as an empty cell". 👍

I still couldn’t figure it out, they really should default it to show nothing if nothing is in the cell. There is a 0 key for a reason, why tf do Microsoft and software developers have to over engineer EVERYTHING. Let the buttons do their MFing job. Gah damn

Hello @daxgulliver8763, I hear your frustration and totally understand where you’re coming from. It can be really annoying when software doesn’t behave as intuitively as we'd like. In Excel, the behavior of charts automatically dropping to zero when cells are empty can indeed be confusing and not always desirable. If you’re still having trouble with the line chart issue, here’s a quick tip: You might consider using NA() in the cells where you currently have no data. Excel will treat these as gaps in the line chart, rather than plotting them as zero. Simply type =NA() in any cell where you want to avoid a zero value being plotted. I hope this helps make your charting experience a bit smoother! Let me know if you have any other questions or need further clarification. Thanks for your comment and for watching the video! Best regards, Mehran
